You can take the ID into consideration as default chapter, set the type of output and filter according to file ending when outputting a model element's attachments.
There are various ways to assign attachments to a model element.This is why there are multiple documentation chapters for displaying attachments:
Assigned attachments: All attachments assigned to this model element are displayed in this chapter. Use this chapter to display all the element's attachments.
Standard attachment: The model element's standard attachment is displayed in this chapter.
Assigned attachments without standard label: All attachments assigned to this model element and not in the standard attachment are displayed in this chapter.
Attachments: All attachments that have this model element as owner are displayed in this chapter. This chapter does not support filters.
Use the subchapter File to display attachment content.
There are various ways to display attachments:
As icon: An icon is displayed for the attachment in the documentation.
As attachment: The attachment is inserted as an OLE object.
As text: The attachment is inserted as formatted text.
As diagram: The attachment is shown as a diagram if possible.
Do not display: The import is not displayed.
The way it is displayed can be set for each File subchapter on the properties dialog's Properties tab under Output Type.
If you want to display different types of attachments in different ways, then you can define filters to the attachment's model element enumeration chapter.The filter is set on the properties dialog's Paragraph Format tab under Filter Name. It can contain an Or join.You can use the following filters for e.g. filtering attachments in Word or PDF format: *.docx|*.pdf.
