Installation
Innovator clients can be easily installed for Windows using the browser on the data medium. You can also find all necessary information for installing clients and servers in the network there.

Enterprise Edition
You can either install the Enterprise edition from a data medium (DVD) or with a WinZip archive.
- Insert the data medium. A browser is normally automatically started with Microsoft Windows (XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista and Windows 7).If this does not happen, run startup.exe directly in the data medium's root directory to start the browser.

Double-click on the self-extracting WinZip file. Click on Setup to start unpacking the installation files into a temporary directory. Once the files have been unpacked, a browser is automatically started.
Attention:If you close the WinZip dialog, all temporary files are deleted and the installation cannot be completed. The dialog is automatically closed once the installation is complete.
The installation browser provides you with information about Innovator and the installation. The installation program can also be run from the browser. Select the language you require and navigate through the information and run the installation.
You need to install Innovator as Windows administrator if you want to install Innovator for all users or Innovator servers as services.
A program folder and program group are created when the installation is started; these contain all Innovator programs and documents.
Professional Edition and Personal Edition
The products of the modeling software, Innovator, are only available in the Enterprise edition, which is installed via an installation browser.
There are special single user editions for certain products (Professional edition, Personal edition). These editions are installed directly as Microsoft Software Installation (MSI files).
A program folder and program group are created upon installation.Innovator is automatically started once installation is completed.
