Removing Page Breaks

Remove a page break to display the diagram on fewer pages.

Prerequisites

You have opened a diagram. You can remove page breaks in the Page Layout tab.

Context

There are two ways to remove page breaks:

  • Mouse

    If you use the mouse to drag the page break closer to a marginal strip it is highlighted when moved and deleted if the break is moved within this area.

  • Context Menu

    Select Remove Page Break from the context menu of a page break line.

The print view is recalculated if a page break is removed.

How to proceed

  1. Jump to the Page Layout tab.

    Page breaks are shown as blue lines.

  2. Position the mouse pointer over a page break line which appears after a marginal strip.

    The page break line is shown as green when it is being edited.

  3. Select Remove Page Break from the context menu of the page break line.

    The page break is removed and the page layout is recalculated.
