Positioning Page Breaks

Define which areas should be printed on which pages. Page breaks are used to define which subareas of a diagram should appear on which printed page.

Prerequisites

You have opened a diagram. You can edit page breaks in the Page Layout tab.

Context

Page breaks are used to define which subareas of a diagram should appear on which printed page.

How to proceed

  1. Jump to the Page Layout tab.

    Page breaks are shown as blue lines.

  2. If no page break is defined, you can add one with Horizontal page break or Vertical page break.

  3. Move the mouse over the page break to be edited and hold down the left-hand mouse button.

    The page break line is shown as green when it is being edited.

  4. Use the mouse to move the page break line to the target position.

  5. Stop editing by releasing the mouse button.

    The pages are recalculated according to where you moved the page break.
