Adding Page Breaks
Define which areas should be printed on which pages.
Prerequisites
You have opened a diagram. You can edit page breaks in the Page Layout tab.
Context
There are two ways to add page breaks:
-
Ribbon
If a page break is added to the diagram from the ribbon, it is added centered between the page break furthest to the right (vertical) and/or the furthest below (horizontal) and the marginal strip to the right (vertical) and/or below (horizontal).
You are not allowed to insert a page break via the ribbon if there is not enough space.
-
Context Menu
Use the mouse pointer to choose where the page break should be added.

How to proceed
-
Place the mouse pointer where the page break should be inserted.
If the command is deactivated, this means that a new break cannot be inserted at this point. Choose another point in the diagram which allows for more space between page breaks.
-
Select Horizontal page break or Vertical page breakin the context menu.
A new horizontal page break is inserted where the mouse pointer is when the context menu was called.
