Process Hierarchy Tool Window View

Purpose

The Process Hierarchy tool window view shows call between all processes in the model.

Prerequisites

The view appears if the model contains processes.

Structure

The top part of the tool window view contains a drop-down list that initially says "Please select an element". The drop-down list contains a tree of all packages that contain processes. The model root is needed for grouping. It is however shown in light gray and cannot be selected.

The processes contained in the package selected in the list (including all subordinate packages) are shown in the bottom area. The hierarchy is determined by the call between the processes and not be the property owner.

Processes called multiple times and processes that are called from other namespaces have icons to show this. Please not that selecting a higher package in the drop-down list means many calls are no longer shown as external if the caller itself is contained in the hierarchy shown.

Use

The same commands as in all other model trees can be run for this window's nodes.
