Start a New Change Set Dialog
You can create a new change set in the Start a New Change Set dialog. You leave the previous change set and your changes are recorded by the new change set.
Purpose
You can create a new change set in the Start a New Change Set dialog. You leave the previous change log and your changes are recorded by the new change log.
The previous change set will be completed if no other users are using it.
If the previous change set is empty, it is then deleted.
You can create a link to an external system; the corresponding system ID can be specified as the link text.
Structure
The dialog consists of the Name, Comment, Link and ID input fields, Test button and OK and Abort buttons.
The name and comment are for the identification of the change set.
The link to an external system (such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server) is for reproducing model changes in collaborative software projects. The corresponding system ID can be specified as link text. The Test button allows the immediate check of the link.
