Inserting Tasks

You can create tasks in the BPMN diagram by dragging them from the Create Diagram Content gallery and dropping them in the diagram.

Prerequisites

You can create tasks in the BPMN diagram.

Context

You can easily define a task's type by right-clicking on the respective element and the mini toolbar in the context menu.

How to proceed

Jump to the Design tab.
Drag a task template from the gallery in the Create Diagram Content group and drop it where you want in the diagram.
To set the task type, loop properties type or certain other properties, select the task and click with the right mouse button. Select the type or property you want from the mini toolbar. You can also set the properties in the tool window with the same name.

The selected property is shown in the diagram node.
Assignments can be changed in the same way.
