Modifying Table Properties

You can modify the labeling, orientation and height of the first row of a documentation table; it is also possible to omit the enumeration column.

Context

You can change the following properties for a documentation table:

  • Table Caption: You can specify the heading the table should be given here. You can use placeholders which are provided by the appropriate model element enumeration chapter. The $(number) variable contains a continuous counter for all tables

  • Rotate Table: If this option is set, the table rows are shown as columns.

  • Style: Specify a Word format template for the table. The format template must be defined in the template file.

  • Omit Enumeration Column: The first column of the table is omitted. You can use this option in combination with rotate table to e.g. show the modification history information as a table below the Element (Element Class) chapter.

Sorting set for the underlying model element enumeration chapter also determines the table sorting for suppressed enumeration columns.

  • Height of the First Row: Use this option if you want to set the height of the first row (in mm) for a table with a rotated column heading.

How to proceed

  5. Jump to the Properties tab.

  6. Change the desired properties.

  7. Confirm your changes with Apply.

The table column properties are modified according to the changes you made.
