Merge extra structuring chapters.
Prerequisites
At least two extra structuring chapters are selected and are in the same chapter.
Context
The extra structuring chapter selected first is retained with its settings (e.g. sorting type) and all subchapters of the structuring chapter selected afterwards are moved to it. The extra structuring chapters are deleted.
How to proceed

Select the additional structuring chapter with the settings you want to maintain during the merge in the Documentation Structures view in the configuration editor.

Then select the extra structuring chapters with the subchapters you wish to merge into the structuring chapter first selected.

Select Edit>Structure>Merge.
The extra structuring chapter's subchapters are merged into the chapter first selected. The extra structuring chapters left over are deleted.
